The project ‘MATERIAL STORY LAB’ is closely linked to further development and consolidation of a new research field named ‘new materialism’ at AAU. This research field is cross-disciplinary, international and has (potentially) pedagogical and didactic implications for the PBL model in regard to both organizational development activities, research practices and teaching practices at student level at AAU.
The project is intended as both the network-based research center point for this development and as a practice for close integration of those three areas. The purpose and objective of Material Story Lab is thus to integrate research, teaching and development practices of high academic standard, based on a cross-disciplinary, (inter)national and a problem-oriented approach.
Further, the intentions are to extend the field of application of the PBL-model even further to leadership development and organizational development and higher education in co-operation with organizations and international education institutions.
